State in '66 and taught school @ Lowndes Jr until '81. Married Ellen Minton (Class of
'65) in '69 and one great son, Stephen.
We all work together with our own business. We still live here in Valdosta.

I've been married 39 years
to Jim Hughes. We have four children.( 2 sons and 2 daughters) Our oldest son and both daughters are married
and have blessed us with 6 grandchildren. Our youngest son is about to graduate from VSU.
I have been a hairdresser for 36 years and Jim has been in the pharmaceutical business
for 41 years. We've been living in the Hahira area for the past
15 years.

I was married to Jack Wood,
graduating class of '59 from Clyattville High School, for 37 yrs. We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Jack went home to be with the Lord in October, 2000, after 30
yrs with Bell South. I remarried
June, 2002. Since retirement
from Lowndes County Schools
(26 1/2 yrs) in 2004, we have devoted our time to traveling. When we are not on the road or in the air, we
split our time between Valdosta and Locust Grove, GA.

effective 3/1/00 in Roanoke, VA....and subsequently moved back
to Valdosta....God's country. Have
ran into a few ole friends since returning and always
nice to see or hear from friends I haven't seen or heard from in years.

Chris Prine and I married
September 5, 1965 and will celebrate 44 years together this year. We have one daughter,
Christy Prine Hamilton, and two wonderful grandaughter, Sammye Caroline and Maggie
Jo Hamilton. Chris retired from
the Georgia State Patrol after 32 years of service
and decided to run for Sheriff of Lowndes County. He was elected and life has been quite different ever since.
