Joined the navy in 68. Spent 12yrs in. Stationed in Pensacola, FL in 73. My last tour of

duty was with the United States navy blue angels. Now work with Ideacom of the gulf

coast. Still Married to Linda, and have a son Clint 29, daughter Candice 23. Live in

Pensacola, FL.

I married Cathy Vann (class of 71) in June of '71. We have two daughters, Jo Jo ('90) and

Jennifer ('96). We also have two grandchildren, Emily 7 and Jacob 4. They live in

Sylvester so we travel alot. I have worked in the glass business for over 30 years now.

Business Personel Industrial Relations). Worked for a while in retail. Moved to Phoenix.

Corporate Trainer/Facilitator/Seminar Coordinator/ Education & Training Rep. for Best

Western International Corp. Headquarters in Phx. Back to Gary (sick parents. Masters

IUN, MPA, Health Services; Worked in Managed Care. Currently teaching in SEH Middle

School (Dunbar-Pulaski). Will be moving on at the end of the term to return to Phoenix

area. (I love it there.) I have a great son (30yrs old and 2 grandchildren) in the Phx.

After working as a manager for Bellsouth for 27 years the travel bug hit and I gladly left the

corporate world. Bought a sailboat and lived aboard for a few years and have spent the

last few years traveling through Europe(sailing with a friend thru the Mediteranian,

backpacked the Canary Islands and toured Morocco on a moterbike) Now back in my

home in Jacksonville FL. Recently married to a fellow traveler I met while in Greece.

I married Robert Newton in 1969 and we had one daughter, Melissa, who graduated from

Lowndes in 1989. We now have 3 wonderful grandsons: twins that are 5 and the youngest

15 months. I love being a grandmother and working in my flower gardens.

After graduation, I attended Valdosta Tech for one year, trained for one year at South

Georgia Medical Center, took a Georgia Board Exam and became a Medical Laboratory

Technologist(MLT). While working in this field of training, I transferred to Augusta, Ga.to

work at the VA Hospital in Hematology Research in 1975. In 1977, I met and married my

husband, Ron, from Brewer, Maine. By 1979, Ron incorporated his home building

business and called it Downeast Homebuilders. In 1981, I left the VA Hosp. to become a

stay at home Mom for my daughter, Kimberly, which I have never regretted. I love being a

Mom. A son, Steven, was born to us in 1983. Ron, my children, and Ron's building

business have been my life for many years. It has been a great life. We have been able to

travel many places over the years. Now days, we spend four months out of every year in

Maine and the rest of our time is spent in Evans, Ga. where our two children live. Ron

continues to be very much involved in his building business today.

Lowndes High 1979-1983, moved to Dalton taught at Northwest High School, then moved

to elementary school taught for 22 years. Graduated with an ED.S from Lincoln Memorial

University. Now I am an assistant principal at New Hope Elementary School in

Dalton...loving life.

Valdosta and I have two children and have been married to Ted Sauls,Sr. for 31 years.

Ted Jr. is 27 years old, a graduate of VSU and in Fort Worth Texas going to Seminary

school. Tina is 18 and a Senior at LHS, class of 2001. c-yas! :)

Jimmy and I have been married 39 years. Jimmy will retire from Norfolk Southern railroad

Sept 2008. I have been employed with South Georgia Pecan Co. for 35 years. We have

three children, Brett, Monica, and Erika (twins). They also graduated from Lowndes High

in 1990 and 1994. They are all married and we have 7 grandchildren ranges in ages 8,6,4

2,2,(twins),2 and 5 mos. We still enjoy and attend Lowndes High football.

I have traveled quite a bit and lived in Australia for 3 1/2 years and NW Arkansas for 20

years. I have worked in an office environment for over 30 years. I have two daughters and

six grandchildren. My husband and I are currently living in Panama City Beach, Fl. close

to my parents. We travel to Valdosta and Nashville Ga several time a year to visit with

family and to family reunions.
