1978 and we have two children Amanda age 23 and Scott age 19. I am employed by Grinnell Fire Protection, and
have been in the fire protection industry since 1973. This year Louise
and I had been married 25 years. We
live in Lake Park area

I left Valdosta in 1974
when I married Ronnie, who is from Atlanta.We have been married over 27 years and have
2 children,Ron(26)& Wendi(24).Ronnie has worked for Coca-Cola for almost 29 years. For
the last 14 years I worked in the accounting dept. at a bank. Last year the bank was bought out by a large national
bank and everyone in the accounting dept. lost their jobs.I'm
taking a break at home for now.We live an hour north of Atlanta in the country, with a nice
mountain view.Would love to hear from everyone!

Don't remember the seventies
and grew up in the eighties. I have three children. Casey (1974) Carrie (1976) and
Ross (1985). I work as an Environmentalist in Brunswick GA. with the love of my life
Mac. I have two grandsons Andrew and Jules. Life is Good!

I graduated from VSU in
1976, and married Byron Brown (class of 71) that same year. We lived in Gainesville,
FL for 5 years, Thomaston. GA for 3 years, and have been back in Valdosta since 1984. Byron is an English professor at VSU and I teach
3rd grade at Georgia Christian School.
We have three children- Laura (born in 1980) is married and teaches school in New Orleans.
She and her husband were very blessed to have had little damage to their home from Hurricane Katrina.
Alison (born in 1982) is married to a physicist and she and her
husband are working on their master's degrees at UT in Dallas. Alison will be a speech pathologist. They should graduate in December, 2006, and
will probably move to Huntsville,
AL after that. Our son Scott
(born in 1988) will graduate from LHS in 2007. He plays baritone and trombone for the Bridgemen.
No grandchildren yet. Interestingly, my son and
both sons-in-law are all named Scott, so holidays get a little confusing.

Since graduating, i have
had 2 boys, 1 grandaughter, and one on the way. i have been married three times, twice
to my present husband. i have been a seamstress, a cook superviser for the state,
a part-time bus driver for the y in moultrie, part-time secretary, and now a certifided jailer in colquitt county. several
years ago between marriage 2&3, i bought 4 acres of land,
put my mobile on an acre of it and my neighbor plants soybeans on 3 of it. i also raise
chickens and eggs. i have been in colquitt co. since before graduating. wew! that's
a short version of it. thanks for the Web Site.

I Played music in local
bands for years. Now I am a sales
rep and sell fiberglass material, resins and other items. I still live in Valdosta. I have 3 kids and 2 grandkids. My youngest son plays drums
in the Georgia Bridgemen and I am very involved with the music program at LHS. My wife Kay and I have been married for 21 years.

I have been married to
Revis Casteen for almost 33 years. We
have 3 beautiful daughters now. Patty Casteen Gill,
30 is married and lives in Guam with our 2 grandsons, Austin,8 and Colby,4. Dawn Casteen Brevig, 28 is married and lives
near us in Valdosta with our grandaughter, Taylor that
is 8 yrs. Christin Casteen Crosby,
23 is married and lives in Ray City. I graduated from Valdosta Tech in cosmetology.
Then I graduated in 1997 from ABAC as a RN.
I worked at SGMC up until an automobile accident in Aug. 2002
causing severe injury to my right hand. I hope and pray that I can soon return to the
nursing job that I LOVED so much.

Divorced, but God has blessed
me with a precious daughter, Heather Hightower, who will be a Senior in the Class
of 2006 at LHS. She has been
with the Georgia Bridgemen since middle school and on the Dance Line throughout
high school. I am working as a nurse at South Georgia Medical Center
while going to ABAC for my degree. Yes,
I have had some difficult times, but God
has blessed me in so many ways...at times, He's even given me "double for my trouble."

Me and my wife have been
in business for ourselves for 21 years. We own Clanton's Welding, Morven Tan &
Fitness, and Clanton's Rentals. We have two children Lee Clanton(25) and Katie Clanton-Gordon(23).
Our children are married; Lee to Samantha Dell Clanton and Katie to Derek Gordon. Also we have
two grandson's Tyler Clanton(5) and Dylan Gordon(3). Lee is
a fire fighter captain of Quitman fire dept. and a Regional paramedic. Katie is studying
to be a nurse at VSU.

Had i actually stayed in
school long enough to graduate, i would have been part of the 1973 graduating class,,
however life started happening to me before then and i had a baby for graduation.. I am now divorced and living in lake park ga
. I have three children who are smart and compassionate and loving and are the only redeeming
product of an eighteen year marriage.
I also have three grandchildren who
are showing great promise to be as wonderful as their parents. this web site
is a very good idea. thank you for your efforts to keep people
connected. i thought it needed
some input from the ordinary people , so i put in my two cents worth.

about 4 years I moved to Maine, Pennsylvania, then settled in Florida for about 15 years.
My 14 year old daughter Jessica and I live in Gardner Ma. where i'm an I.T. professional.
I used to spend alot of time sailing to the bahamas and on the St. Johns river. I'm
into building strip-built kayaks as well as furniture at this time.

I hope you remember me.
I didn’t graduate with you but you were my classmates during 5th grade (Hahira Elementary),
6th grade (Pine Grove Elementary), 7th-9th grades (Hahira Junior High), and the beginning
of my sophomore year at LHS (1971).
My father retired from the air force and
we moved to Augusta. I graduated from Glenn Hills High but a large part of my heart belongs
in Lowndes County. I got married
and divorced when I was very young and decided to join
the air force as an air traffic controller. After seeing quite a bit of the world and most of
the United States and remarrying, my wife and I decided to retire from the air force in 2003/2002
respectively. We live in Henderson,
NV, a suburb of Las Vegas. I work for a Department
of Defense contractor at Nellis AFB and my wife is a Nuclear Medicine specialist
for Cardiovascular Consultants of Nevada. I honestly feel like I became the person I am today in part because
of the teachers, coaches, and classmates I had during my time at Hahira. The memories I have of those school days will
forever be with me. I saw the pictures
posted of the 30 year reunion and recognized a few people. It brought a smile to my face.
I would love to hear from each and everyone of you. And if you ever plan to take a
trip to Las Vegas, you will always have a place to stay. A distant, but hopefully not forgotten,
classmate.
