I moved to Athens GA in
1976 and worked in a real job and attended UGA at night. I started canoeing and kayaking
and took a three month leave of absence from work to take a position as a whitewater raft guide on the
Nantahala River in NC and Ocoee River in TN in 1980. During the winters
I would work at ski areas in Park City UT and spend summers on the rivers. In the winter
of 1984 I went to Jackson Hole WY for the ski season and stayed for ten years. There
I met my wife Carolyn and we married in 1991. I spent most of my time in Jackson Hole
selling advertising for the local newspaper and then selling Real Estate. In 1994 we grew
tired of the 11 months of winter in WY and moved back to NC and both work for www.wildwaterrafting.com I am the
operations manager for the Nantahala River location and Carolyn
works as the Assitant Marketing Manager for the company. I am still involed in motorcycle
racing, ( I do alot of racing on 60's and 70's vintage motorcycles and race in
the "super senior" classes on modern bikes ). I feel lucky
that I have been able to turn
my hobby of whitewater sports into a career and have done the same with motorcycles by
selling parts and restored motorcycles on ebay ( member id is hotshoe14a )THANKS Larry

I stayed in Valdosta for
several years, while married to my first husband, Steve Goble. We have 2 children, Nicki
and Stephanie. Nicki(31) is handicapped
and lives with my husband and I. Stephanie(26) is married and has 3 boys. I left Valdosta for Thomasville, Douglas and then beautiful
St. Augustine with my second husband, Tag. We have 2 children. Heather (22) lives in Orlando and will be getting
married in May 0f 2007. Amber
(21) did a short stint
in the Army reserves as a MP and has a son.
My wonderful husband, Jack, has 4 children.
His second daughter has 3 boys and 1 girl and his son has 1 girl. Total of 9 grandchildren and they are wonderful.
We live in Ocala, FL. I worked for Albertsons (grocery
store) for 18 years, 8 as bookkeeper and 10 as a manager. Became a fulltime wife, mother, and grandmother
as of April 27, 2007 and I am loving every minute of it. Would like to hear from classmates. Have heard from Diane Ciaccio and Elaine McDonald already.

Mason and I married in
1978. We have 3 sons ages 26,23 and 18. Our oldest is a math teacher in Fayetteville
and married this April. Our other 2 are in college. The youngest, Jesse, will start at VSU
this fall and is playing baseball. I am a nurse and work as little as
possible. Mason is the
Athletic Director at Clayton College and State University just south of Atlanta. We are hopeing to move back to Hahira
in the near future. There's just no place like HOME!

that married I had 2 girls,ages 22 and 19. We live in Greece and Spain.Came back
a single mother. Remarried in 1992 to Todd Biskupiak we have been married for 10
yr. Have Allison which is 5. What fun I am having.I own my own business here in Valdosta.I
live in the Lake Park area and volunteer as a fireman for the city of Lake Park.Hope

Married my childhood sweetheart
4-2-1976, have two boys Ben born 1980 & Carly born 1982, Worked as industrial
mechanic and millwright, schooled in air cooled engine repair, in 1988 started in the
environmental field installing and maintaining remediation equipment. Started making BBQ sauce & seasonings in
1997 until 2000 until I was found to have prostate cancer. I shut
business down, went through treatment, the Lord provided healing and my life, and I have
been inspired to live each day to the fullest. I have since re-opened
the business in 2007 and
produce that now famous Mop & Sop BBQ Sauce, Dry Rub, Seasoning and Pepper Sauces.
I have all but retired from the environmental field and have devoted my days looking
for markets and embracing the next challenge. Since my healing I have found the opportunity to serve the Lord
without fear and look for ways of sharing the hope that I have with those who are looking for
truth. I have seen things that few kings have seen, I have experienced
riches in life that cannot be bought and I have looked beyond the river and saw
the promise. Since graduation I have learned that there is always more to life than an easy ride; but with the
greater challenge, greater will be the reward.

After graduation from Lowndes
High School I worked for the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department for 1 year.
On September 25, 1977 I married Karen Bennett - LHS class of
1976. Other than my short employment of 1 year as
a deputy I have been in the retail jewelry business,bought,sold,
and developed realestate. On
November 2004 we sold our retail jewelry store in
Adel, Georgia. Our income is
now from our rental property. At
times we do get bored, but overall we are enjoying
our semi retirement. I received
my BA from the University of the State
of New York with a major in psychology and a minor in economics. I earned my Gemologist Diploma from the Gemological
Institute of America. I am a certified water
operator with a class lV license. I
keep this certification current so that I can maintain the
water system to our subdivision. I still like quality diamonds and gold, but what I love most
is my family. I have a beautiful
wife and 2 fine boys ages 13.5 and 9.5.

Retired Radioman Chief Petty Officer. I have three boys and one girl. Presently with Honeywell as a Spacecraft Performance
Analyst at a Naval Research Lab Field Site. My father
was the Preacher in Remerton. I worked at Pantry Pride until summer of 1974. I still
stay in touch with many friends that I had in Remerton and at Pantry Pride. I only wish I would have done better in school
instead of concentrating on working after school.

Since high school, I married
in 1978 to Greg Eldridge of Irwinville, GA(above Tifton). We were married 11 years and
had two children Erin Nicole(1982) and Reuben Parker(1983). We had a business starting
in 1981 selling home satellite dish systems(the big 10ft kind) and soon became a distributor
for south georgia and north florida. If you bought a large dish between 1982 and 1988,
it orginally came from us. We
divorced in 1989 and the business ended. 1991 I and my children moved back to Valdosta,
I attended VSU from 1992 to 1996 majoring in
nursing, but decided it wasn't for me.
I now work for Mediacom cable (5 years now).
My daughter Erin(graduate of year 2000) has her associate degree
from GA military and is
continuing on at VSU. My son
decided high school was too slow and left mid year 11th
grade to attend VOTECH majoring in Mechanics.
He graduated Sept 2003. He married in
July 2002 to Kayla Shealy and they gave me a beautiful granddaughter on Sept 27
2002. I feel very blessed in
my life and am happy.

Mark and I will celebrate
our 26th wedding anniversary in December. We have lived in Kennesaw(outside of Atlanta)going
on 12 years. Our oldest daughter
will graduate from Ga. Southern in December
and is engaged to be married in May. Our second daughter is a Junior in High School.
Her horse had a foal this past April. I kind of know what it
feels like to be a grandparent.
Our son is a freshman in High School. He wrestles, plays Lacrosse, and is involved
in Student Ventures. I've been
a dental hygienist for 25 years and work in Marietta.

in and I hope more people will send

After graduation I worked
at the Valdosta Daily Times until 1981. I met and married Diane Owens 1979 while she was
in college at VSC. We moved to
LaGrange Ga. for 2 yrs. where my son Chris was
born in 1982. My wife joined
the Air Force in 1983 and we headed out to Lubbock Tx.
for a year. We then packed up
and moved to Yokota Air Base Japan. My Daughter Courtney
was born there in 1984. 1987
we moved back to the U.S. and lived at Scott AFB
IL, Diane began her first assignment as a flight nurse on the now retired C-9 Nightingale.
I went to school for HVAC at the local community college. 1991 we once again packed up
and moved to Tyndall AFB Fla. We lived there for 4 years where I worked in base housing as HVAC Technician,
Diane was the pediatric clinic nurse.
1995 we packed up the house,
family and Dog “Casey" and moved to Germany to be stationed at Ramstein AB
Ge. Diane once again a flight
nurse on the C-9,C141. We visited several of the
Castles and various Fest in Germany during our stay there. We lived
there until 1999 moving
us to New Jersey where Diane worked at the AMWC on Ft Dix. She pinned on Lt. Col there
and we moved in 2002 to Keesler AFB Ms. We lived there for 2 years while she worked
at the Med Center there and I was Maintenance supervisor for a large Apt complex in Ocean
Springs where we lived. In 2004
we got orders for Germany again and sold our house
there. My son and daughter stayed behind so we purchased a smaller home for them to
share and rent from us. Diane and I moved back to Germany with our 13 year old Maltese
Casey and our new addition Gizmo another Maltese. The Kids enjoyed a year when
they were forced from the house when Katrina flooded the Ms Gulf coast. The house has
be remodeled now after almost a year of very trying times for us and the 2 of them. Diane
is now a Colonel and is the Commander of the 375 AES at Scott AFB where her flight
nurse career began nearly 20 years ago.
We still have our 2 dogs Casey now 15 and Gizmo
now 3. Well that is about all
for now will update again when we pack up and move

this year, 2003), twins Scott and Nancy born September 1982 (Sophomores in college,
2003). Have worked in the defense
industry, active duty and civilian, for the last
27 years. Currently the Director
of Surface & Expeditionary Warfare Programs at a Navy training
and simulation lab in Orlando, FL.

my husband, Larry. We have been
married 23 years and have no children. We
are both very career oriented and have done a great deal of traveling
with our work. I had the great fortune of being introduced
to the credit union industry as an employee of Moody AFB Federal
Credit Union(now Southeastern Credit Union). The credit union industry has been very good to me over
the years. I am currently vice
president of Coastal Federal Credit
Union in Raleigh, NC. I lead
our credit union's community relations programs and legislative affairs which takes
me to Washington, DC to speak on behalf of North Carolina credit unions.
My husband is a Business Consultant in the healthcare industry which takes him
to hospitals all over the country. Most
of my family is still in Hahira and we visit as
often as possible. I have not lived in Lowndes county since 1977, but possibly will move
home at some point down the road.

I regret I did not get to know many of my class mates well. I left Valdosta and attended Clark Atlanta University
in Atlanta. I happy so say the shyness is OVER! I've lived in Washington, DC and now New Jersery.
I have an incredible life
and I'm involved in local policits and own my own busines in New Jersey - of all places!

Moved to Provo, Utah in 1978 and to Salt Lake City in 1979.
Met and married my husband
there in 79. Returned to Fla.
after he enlisted in the Air Force and eventually we were
stationed at Moody for 3 years. Since
that time we moved around quite a bit, including
England for 4 years. We are now
in Bogart, Ga, just outside of Athens. Have not had any information about any reunions,
but hope to in the future. We
have 2 children, ages 16
and 10, and have been married for 21 years now.

Gator and I had our Silver
Wedding Anniversary April 4, 2001 and two months later our oldest daughter, Cassie,
got married to a guy she met in college.
She graduated Cum Laude from the State University
of West GA in Carrollton and now teaches school in Cobb County. Our
youngest daughter, Andrea, just finished two years at the University
of GA and is now going to the
GA Southwestern in Americus to be a nurse.
She eventually plans on being a Mid-Wife.
She got an engagement ring for Christmas but plans on getting married the summer
of 2003. Thank God for a break
(especially money-wise). Gator is the manager of
Colquitt Co. Ag in Doerun, GA. He
is also Chairman of the Worth County Board of Education. He has been on the Board for 10 years. He has a 1-800 number if you ever want
to call him. It is 1-800-782-0208. I work for the City of Poulan which is east of Sylvester
on Hwy. 82. If you are ever going
to Albany via Hwy. 82, stop in to see me. City
Hall is only 2 blocks off Hwy. 82 (You can stop at Ed's Truck Stop and
ask. It is also a good place to eat). I still go to Valdosta often to see my Mom.
My Dad is in the nursing home
in Lake City at the V.A. He has
alzheimers. It is very sad. I would love to know who sent Gator's current picture
to this web site. Someone from Worth Co. told us about it. I hope everyone is having a wonderful life!

I'm still in southern California
and work for a software company that makes engineering software. My children are
now in middle school and high school. Since I got a late start, I guess most of you have
already gone through it. It's turning out to be pretty interesting.
All in all, things are going pretty well. I like
work and my family is pretty happy where we are.

school, divorced seven years later.
Remarried and have been happily married to Mike
Lightfoot for 25 years. We moved
every three years with Mike's Air Force career until
his "retirement" in '05. We live in Niceville,Fl (near Destin)
where I work as a CPA and he teaches
explosive ordnance disposal at Eglin AFB. Two beautiful daughters and two grandchildren.....which
are soooo much fun! Regretably,
I have missed all reunions.
I would love to attend --although I am hesitant because I don't
think anyone will remember me!!

I didnt get to graduate,but
would have in `74. I'm currently living in Lake City, Fl. Spent time in the AF after I
turned 17. I am married going on 21 years and have three Sons, 19,17,12, and a goddaughter
6,. I'm Driving a truck and pass by the school all the time.Still try to stay
involved in music, worked with a few bands over the years.. Playing
or working sound and lights. Had a really good time.

After High School,
I married and stayed around Valdosta for about 1 1/2 yr. I went
to Valdosta Vo-Tech for a
year, then moved to the Atlanta area. I spent 4 years in the Air
Force (2 in Italy).
After the Air Force, I returned to the Atlanta area and enrolled
at Southern Tech. Divorced shortly after. I hired on with
AT&T in 1984. I remarried a few years later. We have 4 children and 9 Grandchildren.
Most recently, I have taken a buy- out from AT&T and took
some classes at Coosa Valley Tech. I
hired on as a Rural Carrier Associate with the Postal Service, in October
2005, after taking off for a year. I
would love to hear from any of
our alumni.

I married David in March
of '75. We then moved to Albany,
GA (David's job) for a few years where our first son,
Matt, was born (Jan, 1981). We
moved back to Valdosta in the summer of 1981. Our second son, Adam, was born in June or 1988.
All of this time, I was a stay-at-home mom
except for a couple of office-type jobs before Matt was born. I started college (VSU) at
the ripe old age of 33 and graduated 3 1/2 years later with a degree in Middle Grades
Education. I taught at Hahira
Middle School for 12 years (6th gr. science 1 yr. and 8th gr
math 11 yrs), and then I moved to LHS where I teach math to freshmen. This is my 5th year at LHS. David and I have been married 34 years, and
we have one granddaughter.
Matt married Katherine in 2004.
Elise is now 2 1/2 and is the most beautiful child in
the world! Matt is a civil engineer
here in Valdosta, living in Hahira. Adam is now a senior at UGA majoring in Wildlife.
He should graduate in May, 2010.

Moved to Daytona Beach
the day after graduation with my family.
Worked and partied for the next two years until
joining the Air Force in ‘76. Got
married and spent the next few years in South Carolina
before moving to Okinawa, Japan in ‘80.
Returned stateside in ‘83 to Dayton, Ohio and then to Ogden, Utah in ‘90. Took an early retirement in ‘92 and moved to Cincinnati, OH.
Divorced in ‘93, remarried in ‘95. Attended college full time while working as a Square
Dance caller (a vocation I learned over the years) in Southern Ohio. Associate degrees in Computer Science, Metalworking
Technology and Business Management landed me a
position with The O’Gara-Hess & Eisenhardt Armoring Company in Fairfield, OH
as a Fabrication Production Controller and Vehicle Traffic Manager. I also still manage a very busy, nearly full
time, square dance calling schedule. My wife, Sherry, and I live in Indian Springs,
OH, just north of Cincinnati. We
have six kids, two boys and four
girls, all from our previous marriages, ranging from 10 to 23 years

This site is super and I appreciate the obvious
hard work Larry has put into it! I
am very disappointed I missed the reunions. Maybe next time. Y’all probably don’t remember me anyway. I was one of them longhaired party types
that slept through or skipped class.
Except Jack Webb’s classes, of course! Funny how time changes people, isn’t it? I’m still digging the Allman Bros., Wet Willie and Skynard,
though.

I would have graduated
at Lowndes in 1974, but my father got orders for Wiesbaden, Germany. After high school, I served 4 years in the Marine
Corps. Went back home to Arkansas and attended Univ.
of Ark. at Monticello. I'm now married, have four children (oldest in a Texas college
and National Guard) and live outside Oklahoma City on an acreage with family and
horses. We raise Quarter horses and I work at Tinker AFB, as a Senior SYstems Engineer
with Northrop Grumman IT. I was
surprised to find this site (thanks) and would like
to hear from any friends. Take

Well gang, I have had a
lot of fun traveling and living life.
I returned to Hahira and taught Home Economics at the middle
school from 1980-83. I got really
bored and took a year to travel and figure what I wanted to do.
I got involved in restaurant and hotel management for many years and branched
into healthcare about 7 years ago. I
am currently a Corporate Trainer for Nortonhealthcare
in Louisville, KY. I married
Tim in 1986 and I have a wonderful step-daughter
Desiree who is now 25. We now
live about 30 miles west of Louisville where we enjoy
the peace of country living and enjoy our horses, dog and cats.

I certainly never expected
to be 'found' like this... I think the site would be a neat thing to
see develop. I actually
never graduated from LHS... I actually never graduated at all, although I was in the LHS
class of '74. We had moved back to Hahira from Montana at the beginning of my Junior year. I was one of the
'counter-culture' types at that point. I ran away from home a few times,
and finally wound up in the Navy from June '75 to June '78. I got my GED at ValTech when
I got out of the Navy, worked at Southern Electric for about a year and then went to
college at Baptist Bible Institute in Graceville, Florida where I majored in voice and conducting.
I married after my first year at BBI, we had our first child there in Graceville. We
then moved to Fort Worth, Texas where I attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
I graduated with my MA in religious education in '87, moved to LaGrange, Georgia for a year where my second
child was born, then moved back to Fort Worth. I earned my
Ph.D. in adult education and administration in '95 at Southwestern. We stayed
in the Fort Worth area until August of '97 at which time we moved here to Phoenix,
Arizona where I serve as Associate Pastor for Discipleship and Administration at Royal

out townhouse in Tallahassee, I'm still here for a while, finishing some management training thru Florida State Univ.,
will probably be looking seriously to relocate sometime in April

style - apartment/efficiency and a lot of road time

Graduated from Valdosta
State and the University of Georgia with a Masters Degree in Physical Education. I've
taught four years of college at Erskine College, after grad school and then went into public
school teaching. At the moment I am teaching at The Bolles School in Jacksonville,
FL. Got married in 1986 to a Clemson man and moved to Florida for about 3 years before
moving to Atlanta for about 9 years. We have been in Ponte Vedra Beach for a five years now. My husband is in
the Food & Beverage business.

I attended Valdosta Area
Vocational School in 1975 .Married in 1979 moved to Orange ,TX and have been here and married for 20 years.
I work for 2 doctors in Nederland ,TX , My husband Jimmie works for
DuPont. We have animals-no children. An english -bulldog named Peaches, a cockerspaniel
named Georgiagail and another cockerspaniel named cuppie and a cat named
dirtyfeet. We go home(to Twin Lakes) at least twice a year. I still
stay in touch with several
class mates. Active in all the class reunion commitee as much as possible (since I live
almost 700 miles away). We've attended all of the class reunions and look forward to the
25th coming up in July this year. Also am very impressed with the web site for LHS. Thanks
Larry for all the work you've put into it to make it such a success .

Mike and I have been happily
married for 30 plus years now....We have 3 children and live in Valdosta. Our oldest
is Paige, she's 22 now and a student at VSU.
Michael who was born with severe brain
damage is now 18 and continues to live at home with us. Kellie is 15 and a student at LHS.
Mike has a plumbing business and I am a pharmacist at South GA Medical Center.

I graduated on June 3rd.
I met Susan on June 10th and we got married on October 5th, 1974. We will celebrate #26 this October. I worked for Pantry Pride for 12 years. In 1985 I went to work for the Lowndes County Sheriff's
Department. I am still employed
by Lowndes County at the 911
Center on Madison Highway. I
do often wonder what has happened to "the gang".

I left Valdosta right after
graduation. My Dad retired from the Air Force and the family moved back to central Illinois.
I stayed there for two years then moved to Colorado Springs Colorado. I am a Software Test Engineer for LSI
Logic. I got married in 1982, and now have a daughter (16), and
a son (13). We like to bicycle, snow ski, hike, and golf. I hope to be able to take the
family to Valdosta someday to show them around.
