Good question (o: I'm a single man 3 months shy of a 20 year military
career w/the US AF. Continuing to enjoy myself, but somewhat looking
forward to retirment w/in the next 3 to 4 years. Completed

Hello everyone. I still live in Valdosta. I work as a Software Consultant and travel around
the US as I work on various
projects. I married Louise Moses
(VHS), in 1985. We have three kids, (Melissa 12.
Jarrod 10, and Kendal 9). Since
I travel during the week, I am left with very little time to
spen with my family. This leaves
me with even less time to try to stay in touch with my old

After graduation I attended
Valdosta Tech in the Executive Secretarial program. Graduated 1981 and began
work for Park Avenue Bank. There,
I was the executive assistant to the Chairman
for 14 years. Moved to Missouri
in 1999 and am currently married and working for
a medical equipment company as a medical biller and quality assurance specialist.
I have one daughter, Kasey, who is now 14.
I think this website is GREAT! Hope to hear from some of my old classmates.

Since my last update I
have been assigned to Keflavik Naval Air Station, Iceland. I will be assigned here until September
2001. I will be going to my follow
on assignment after that at Robins AFB, Ga. I will be in Warner Robins, Ga. Back in Georgia for the first time in seven years. I'd love to hear from all my classmates and
all of the people that remember the Booker name. There were allot of us here at one time. Hope to hear from you soon.

After graduating from Valdosta
State, I took a job in Tallahassee, Fl and have been here ever since - 21 years!
After working in the corporate world for over 15 years, I became
a work at home mom. My husband and I own an irrigation company that
I manage from home. This affords me to be able to homeschool my
11 year old son, Dylan, which has been very rewarding.
We also have Kyle, 16 and Ashley 19.
My awesome husband and I have been involved with
youth for several years as well as traveling abroad and the US in mission trips with our
church. I'd love to hear from

I moved to Miami,Florida
in 1981 where I met and married my husband of 22 yrs. going on 23 yrs. this November!
In 1998 we moved to Tyrone,Ga. We have three beautiful girls AShley 22yrs.,Sharon 18yrs.,and
Amber 15yrs. We have just become grandparents on 1- 4-05 to a beautiful 7lb.14oz.
little boy name Joshua Gage his mom & dad live in Savannah,Ga. and the rest
of us are still living in Tyrone. I made a career of raising my children, but now that
times have gotten bad after the 2001 attacks I've gone to work with
the Fayette Co. Board of
Ed. My oldest daughter will finally get into nursing school in July
of 2006 and my youngest
is still in Sandy Creek High, nothing like Lowndes High!!! I hope to hear from my old classmates,
I love this site I found so old friends I haven't seen in a long time

I should have graduated
at Lowndes in 1980. I went to Hahira Junior High. Right before the start of our Freshmen year
my father got transfered to Hawaii unexpectidly. I was looking forward to Lowndes but
graduated in Hawaii instead which was also a nice H.S. Would love to hear from old schoolmates
that i remember from Hahira. Please drop me a line.

coordinator at Valdosta State University. I have ben with VSU ten years. I married James DeVane also the class of '80
we have two kids. A son who is 24 and in the
navy and a little girl who is 7 now.

After graduation and a
summer in England, I attended Valdosta State where I received a B.S in Middle Grades Education,
a Masters in Middle Grades Education, an Educational Specialist in Middle Grades
Education and a secondary Masters in Administration and Supervision. In 1983 I
married Phil Dockery who is now a Principal at the newest elementary school in Douglas
and I teach 7th grade math at our Middle School. Together we have 2 wonderful sons.
When I am not busy with church, family and school, I continue to build my Mary Kay business
which has become quite successful.

After graduation in 1980,
I attended Georgia Tech for a year and a half. Returned to Lowndes County in January
1982 and went to work for the cable company. Have been in the cable television business
since then. Traveled the southeast
building cable systems for 3 years. Married and settled in North Carolina in 1985.
Divorced in 1993. Married my wonderful wife Cathy in
1999. Two beautiful step-daughters,
Abbey and Catherine, came with that deal. We currently live in Gastonia, NC (just west
of Charlotte), where Cathy teaches 5th grade and I
am the General Manager for the Time Warner Cable systems serving Gaston and Cleveland
Counties. I still have family
living in Lowndes County, so
we visit occasionally.
I hated missing the 20-year reunion.
Would like to hear from some old classmates. Great job with this alumni site!

I'm married with two children,
working at the South Health District in Valdosta as the Payroll Accountant. I've been here for 13 years and really enjoy
my job. In July, 2003, my son, Patrick, started attending the NASCAR Technical
Institute in Mooresville, NC. My
daughter, Erica, is a Sophomore
at Lowndes and on the Danceline with the Georgia Bridgemen. We just returned from New York where the Bridgemen
marched in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It was a GREAT trip! A group of us are talking about doing a joint reunion with the
class of 1979 in late 2004. If

I remained in Valdosta
after graduating from LHS. I earned a BS degree in Psychology from Valdosta State College
in 1986, and a MS degree in Sociology from Valdosta State University in 1994. I became
a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor in 2003 in my current position as Vocational
Rehabilitation Counselor. I work with the Georgia Department of Labor/Vocational Rehabilitation
Program.as a Division of Education counselor with the Valdosta High Special Education
Department.

After graduation, attended
Val -Tech and recieved my Real Estate License in 1981. My husband was military AF
. We were stationed to Zwiebrucken , Germany for 3 years Travel enjoyed the tour. Had one child my son Sean .
We came back to Moody in 1990. I went back to work in Real Estate
until 1997. We moved to Albany GA for a year after that. I became a full time wife/mom.
My son is now 14 and attends LHS. For the last couple of years he has been working
on a music career. I have been his booking agent and manager he recently signed a recording contract and is
to release his first CD in The fall of 2002. IT IS HARDCORE COUNTRY!!! HE has a website www.Sean
Lackey.com . Check it out and buy his CD. it is awsome!!
