Hello everyone from Class
of '81! It was great to see all
of you a few years ago at our reunion. Since graduation, I attended VSC for 2 quarters
and dropped out. I moved to Atlanta for about a year
and then moved back to Valdosta. I
worked a couple different jobs in Valdosta and then
got into the restaurant business for about 6 years and moved around Georgia and out
to Texas and then back to Camilla, GA.
I left the restaurant business and went back
to VSC. After about 3 years of
college, I dropped out again and moved to Jacksonville,
FL. I lived in Jacksonville for
about a year and then moved back to the Atlanta area. I got into the mortgage business and was completely
burnt out after 7 years of it and I quit.
I didn't know what I wanted to do so I took a sabatical and moved
to Mexico for a few months.
When I returned to Atlanta in November 1999, I took a chance
and applied for a software
technician position and I've been with the same company for the last 6 years.
I have taught myself Spanish over the last 8 years (thanks to
what I remembered from Mrs. Hare's
Spanish classes) and am now fluent in a second language. It has proven to be very helpful at work in dealing
with people from around the world. I'm
currently living in Lawrenceville,
Georiga (Northeast suburbs of Atlanta). My mother of 75 years who has Alzhiemer's
lives with me. Now I work and
take care of my mother. I return to Valdosta pretty
regular to visit my sister and her family (Ann Aligood when she was in school and class
of '79). I would love to hear
from any of you out there, especially those who are living in

Since graduating, I chose
modeling/travel over a university. I moved to New York for a short time and from there,
went on to live in Italy,France,Japan,Hong Kong,Canada and South Africa before coming
back to the states. After a short stint in San Francisco and Los Angeles, I moved back
to Old Nebraska and am currently working as a Commercial real estate agent and have
my stock brokers license. Will see you at the reunion!!

Since graduation I have
been a technical student off and on.I received dipomas from Valdosta Tech for Electonics
1985, Industrial Plant Maint. 1990, and Machine Tool 1993. I left Valdosta in 1993 and
move to Huntsville, Al to complete an apprenticeship as a tool &
diemaker. I left there
in 1998. Moved to the Atlanta area and got married to an old sweetheart from LHS - Tracy
Gonzalez. I now live in the Carrollton-Villa Ricca area west of Atlanta. I am still in shcool. Hopefully I will
get to college one day. First I have to finish some more tech school programs.

After grauating from Valdosta
State with an Accounting degree, I began working for Flowers Industries in the
audit department of the corportate offices. I am currently the Director of Financial Services
for the City of Valdosta. After
graduating from college, I married Judy Cothron (also
class of 81), we have a son and daughter.
Landon will be a senior at LHS this year
and Victoria will be a 6th grader at Hahira Middle School. I certainly am looking forward
to seeing everyone at the reunion.

I attended VSC a few years
before going to pharmacy school at Auburn University. I later received my Doctor of Pharmacy
degree from the University of Florida and was a clinical pharmacist in Tallahassee,
FL for about 13 years. My family
and I recently moved back to Valdosta and I am now working at South Georgia
Medical Center. My wife and I have been married for more than
22 years and have two sweet daughters, ages 13 and 7. Regretfully, I had to be
out of town for the reunion but would love to hear from classmates.

After a couple of years
at VSC then graduating from UGA with a degree in Interior Design I moved to Miami. I lived in South Beach from 1986
until 1998 when I moved to Atlanta for a change of pace. I have been lucky to have had
the opprotunity to travel quite a bit with my work (and some vacations) Currently I have visited
23 countries with Asia and Austrailia still on my short list
of places to go. My partner and I are currently building a new contemporary house in Atlanta
and are looking forward to moving into that in January. Please feel free to take
a look ar my website to see some of what I have been up to in my career. If anyone is in
the Atlanta area feel free to get in touch, I would love to hear from
you. I didn't know about the 25 reunion so i didn't

I graduated from the University
of Georgia in 1985 with my home economics education degree. I married Norris Cooper in 1988, and we settled
in Moultrie, where he is a pharmacist with Rite Aid.
I have 3 children, son Kendall, 16, daughter Kelsey, 15 and son Kirby, 12. I
teach 6th grade science at C. A. Gray Middle School in Moultrie. My son Kendall is in the band,
and I am vice president of our band boosters.
I missed the 20th & 25th reunions, but I hope
to make it to the next one!

from law school in 2005 and I am currently a lawyer in the Public Defender Office
in Valdosta. I have been married to William for 15 years and have one daughter. Rae is in
the 8th grade at Hahira Middle. Had fun at the 20 year reunion and look forward to seeing everyone at the 25.
