Since graduating, I chose
modeling/travel over a university. I moved to New York for a short time and from there,
went on to live in Italy,France,Japan,Hong Kong,Canada and South Africa before coming
back to the states. After a short stint in San Francisco and Los Angeles, I moved back
to Old Nebraska and am currently working as a Commercial real estate agent and have

Since graduation I have
been a technical student off and on.I received dipomas from Valdosta Tech for Electonics
1985, Industrial Plant Maint. 1990, and Machine Tool 1993. I left Valdosta in 1993 and
move to Huntsville, Al to complete an apprenticeship as a tool &
diemaker. I left there
in 1998. Moved to the Atlanta area and got married to an old sweetheart from LHS - Tracy
Gonzalez. I now live in the Carrollton-Villa Ricca area west of Atlanta. I am still in shcool. Hopefully I will
get to college one day. First I have to finish some more tech school programs.

State with an Accounting degree, I began working for Flowers Industries in the
audit department of the corportate offices. I am currently the Director of Financial Services
for the City of Valdosta. After
graduating from college, I married Judy Cothron (also
class of 81), we have a son and daughter.
Landon will be a senior at LHS this year
and Victoria will be a 6th grader at Hahira Middle School. I certainly am looking forward
to seeing everyone at the reunion.

before going to pharmacy school at Auburn University. I later received my Doctor of Pharmacy
degree from the University of Florida and was a clinical pharmacist in Tallahassee,
FL for about 13 years. My family
and I recently moved back to Valdosta and I am now working at South Georgia
Medical Center. My wife and I have been married for more than
22 years and have two sweet daughters, ages 13 and 7. Regretfully, I had to be
out of town for the reunion but would love to hear from classmates.

After a couple of years
at VSC then graduating from UGA with a degree in Interior Design I moved to Miami. I lived in South Beach from 1986
until 1998 when I moved to Atlanta for a change of pace. I have been lucky to have had
the opprotunity to travel quite a bit with my work (and some vacations) Currently I have visited
23 countries with Asia and Austrailia still on my short list
of places to go. My partner and I are currently building a new contemporary house in Atlanta
and are looking forward to moving into that in January. Please feel free to take

of Georgia in 1985 with my home economics education degree. I married Norris Cooper in 1988, and we settled
in Moultrie, where he is a pharmacist with Rite Aid.
I have 3 children, son Kendall, 16, daughter Kelsey, 15 and son Kirby, 12. I
teach 6th grade science at C. A. Gray Middle School in Moultrie. My son Kendall is in the band,
and I am vice president of our band boosters.
I missed the 20th & 25th reunions, but I hope
to make it to the next one!

After graduating from VSU
in 1985 I spent 8 years teaching elementary school. Married a wonderful soldier and lived
many places. Upon his return
from Desert Storm, we settled in his hometown in Pennsylvania. A small, but great little town one half hour
from Pittsbugh and 45 minutes from Morgantown WV. This has been a blessing since our twin daughters are attending
college there (one at The University of Pittsburgh the other at The
University of West Virginia.)
Our third daughter is a middle school student with her heart
set on attending Penn State.
My husband and I, along with terrific business partners, built three assisted living centers throughout southwestern
PA, and "reschooled" to become administrators. While we enjoyed being self-employed it was
quite stressful being in charge of three buildings
and commuting between them. After
9/11 my husband was asked to return to active
duty. He is stationed at the
moment in Ft. Benning GA, but spends his time in The
Middle East. He assures us that
he is not in harms way, but we still pray each night.
I recently returned to teaching and am presently the high school
German teacher at a wonderful
"country" school about 25 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. I have kept in touch with Dennis Pennington
and Kathy Leggett Eldridge, but unfortunately have lost
touch with Toi Pedrick. If anyone
finds their way to the "Steel City", just call,
we have lots of room. God Bless!

I joined the U.S. Army
after High School where I learned how to trouble shoot radio equipment. This three-year term was completed in Lawton,
Oklahoma. Having earned money for college while
in the military, I graduated with my Bachelors Degree from Valdosta State University.
The next five years were spent teaching students at Valdosta
High School (VHS). I never thought I could do it. Work in Wildcat territory, but it was easy when I got used to
having a steady income. I left
VHS to join the ranks of Valdosta Technical College. I began as a part-time instructor and in less
than three months I was the first full-time adult
education instructor in Lakeland, Georgia. I assisted students in studying for the High School
Exit Exam and GED. In less than
a year, I was offered the position of Adult Literacy
Director where I remained for ten years. During those ten years I met the man of my dreams Mr. Charles Mathis.
We married and added two children to the two he already had
when we met. We lost both our oldest daughter Keisha and our baby boy T.J. We have two beautiful children remaining Chaniece
Mathis 10 and Minister Dedrick Mathis 30. Even though things were going wonderfully, I
always wanted to get a Masters Degree. I was unable to fill this need as the director
of a busy program so I decided to return to the
classroom. I am still with Valdosta
Technical College, but I am back in Lakeland, Georgia
holding Masters Degree in Post Secondary Education. All I can say is “Isn't God good.”

a 13 year career with consumer finance. Donnie and I had our 1st son, Dustin, in 1994. I "retired" to stay home with our
child. In 2000, we had another
son, Dakota. My husband, Donnie, is Director of Computer
Engineering and Design for Datamaxx in Tallahassee.
I stay busy with 2 boys,one in middle school, the other elementary. Both play soccer, Donnie and I are coaches for
our youngest son's team. Have been married for 20

Wow! So much time, so few changes! Life's been kinda stable the past few years!
Got married a couple of years
out of high school to a really nice guy, but it didn't last. Remarried a couple years
later to Greg and have been happy for going-on eighteen years! I had your typical odd
jobs right out of school, but soon found my niche in Ophthalmology, and have been working in the field for the past
twenty two years. I am a Certified
Ophthalmic Technician and
have been with Steven T. Greenhaw, MD here in Valdosta for the last fourteen years
where I am the Technical Supervisor and Surgical Coordinator. As far as kids go, no two-legged
children, but I do have two four-legged sons: Winston and Harley, both chichihuas
and my heart! I didn't go the

year!

'89-'95,fell out of love,got divorced, Re-enrolled at UGA in Jan'96, finished in June
'96,came back to Valdosta and ran my family's business (Mitchell's Barbeque) up
until August 2005, got hired by Nestle Waters in August 2005 where I presently toil

been so busy. After graduating I had several small jobs, had 3 children(Brandy-23,Charley-22
and Anthony-17).Started a pool business with my family.Went to Valdosta
Tech in 1999 to learn to guess what? (drive a truck). Was out driving with my sister
for 2 years. In 2003 went back to Valdosta Tech to study Networking Specialist. Finally graduated that and working
on my degree and degree in Network Security,also working at
Valdosta Tech in the IT department.LOVING IT!!!!

I attended ABAC for two
years after graduation and received a associates in Forestry. I went to work at Osmose
Wood Preserving Co. for 3 yrs. as a Utility Groundline Forman. I returned to Valdosta and
finished my 4 yr. degree in Business Mgmt. at VSC while I worked for Wal-Mart in
Valdosta as a Department Mgr. for 5 yrs. I found a job in Atlanta with the Dept. of Agriculture
and moved to Gainesville,Ga where I have been for the past 14 yrs. I have been married to Janet Royal for 7 yrs.
and have 2 kids, Cristina,22 and Charles 18, both who live
in Valdosta. I have 3 grandkids and enjoy spoiling them.

Wow, so much has happened.
Married David Mock, got divorced 5 years and two wonderful children later.
That was sad, but ... Remarried
Jeff Steele from Kentucky, and we've been married 14 1/2
years. We had a child together, and so I have a total of 3 great kids.. At this point (2003)
they're 18, 16 and 13. We homeschooled
the kids. Matt , the 18 yo is at Valtech , about
6 quarters away from earning his Associate's Degree in Machine Tool Technology.
I am pretty proud of him and my girls too.
My husband supports us by running
his own business, Steele's Masonry. He's the best brick layer in South Georgia! He's really
good at it and we stay busy. I do the bookwork for both businesses- scary, huh??
A couple of years ago , I pursued a dream and began to try to
paint. I am now a certified
instructor, teaching oil painting in Valdosta , Jacksonville and my studio behind my home
in Dasher. I have a website,
www.paintwithfaye.com, and I made my own site and maintain
it. It's just awesome how great
it's going with my business. Thanks for reading

United States Air Force and served for a period. I now serve my country as a Civil Servant

I got married had two kids
got divorced worked as a pharmacy tech for 8 years I then decided I needed a change
so I went into collections I have been doing that ever since I got remarried in 1990 to
paul Swain we were married for 14 years he died on Jan 17,2004 of lung cancer I am single
again which is a hard thing to do after being married for 14 years. But I am doing great

I retired as an Air Force
pilot in July 2005 after 21 years of flying heavy jets, including the
C-17 for the last 8 years.
My wonderful son Luke was born in 1999, and just finished third grade. After saying goodbye
to the military, I landed in DeLand, FL (between Orlando and Daytona Beach), where I'm
working on my doctorate in International Business and Management, and I'm teaching
graduate aeronautics classes part-time for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
In January this year, ERAU offered me a full time position, so I'm doing the daily commute
and loving it! There's a new man in my life this year, and I fell truly blessed to have finally

What a long strange road
its been. Started at VSC dropped out after 1 year, joined the army airborne infantry,
spent 2 years in Germany, came back to the states, got married and divorced, got out of
the army bounced around with odd jobs a year or so, started nursing school at Vo-tech
dropped out and went back to VSC graduated VSU BA in history moved to Iowa,
got married, moved to Minnesota, got divorced, came home worked at Toys R Us until I got on with the state and
have been a corrections officer the past 5+ years. Got married again.

and went to Grand Forks A.F.B., North Dakota, where he was stationed. While we were

1982, for Memmingen airfield Germany, for 4 years. We got out of the Air Force in 1986, and I have done a number

Wow! Where have all the
years gone. After graduation,
I joined the Air Force and just recently retired (31 Dec
05) after 24 years. I got married in May 1985 to a wonderful lady and my best friend and
still married to her after 21 years.
We currently live in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am currently
working for the US Postal Service. I
have missed the previous reunions due to being deployed
over seas both times ('91 Saudi Arabia, Desert Shield/Desert Storm, 2001
Aviano, Italy). I will attend
the reunion this coming October '06 and looking forward to
