Hi My name is Buddy Abercrombie
and I graduated class of 82. I have lived in Colorado since 1991 working in the
trucking industry. I am a sales rep for (can you believe this) Viking Freight. I've been
married for 3 years now and have a wonderful one year old, Brandon.

Went to Val-Tech from 1982-1984.
Married Mrs. Wrong in 1986 and had three great sons. Two are at Lowndes High
now and the yougest is at Lowndes middle. Was a cop in the Air Force till 1991. Been
a Deputy with Lowndes County Sheriff for 9 years. Married my bride Becky in 1997. We
met when I wrecked in a police chase and she was the nurse who took care of me.
In September we finished building our home at Cypress Lakes in
Lake Park. The next step
is to fill the house with more kids.

I started a new job at
Moody after we graduated. I got married in 1987 to a great guy that
I worked with.We have been
married for 20 years. Our son Marv is 18 .He plays Varsity football and , is also
on the varsity wrestling team. We live in Omaha, NE. I work for OPS[Omaha Public Schools]for
the past 11 years. My husband Marvin works at Offutt AFB.He went to a DOD [Dept.
of Defense] high School in Germany where his father was stationed.We miss the south
and the friendly people. Hope to be home in about 4 years. Take care and e-mail if

I've worked in advertising
and marketing since graduating from Valdosta State in 1987. Have worked for some of
the leading ad agencies running media departments and account groups on some of the world's top brands. And have managed marketing departments with a dot com and a company
in the entertainment arena. Currently
consulting with Porsche Cars North America
here in Atlanta along with other companies in the South. Married to Elizabeth, a
writer from North Carolina. My
boys are Cameron (13), who lives in Columbus, GA with his mother and Sam, who is
almost 3 years old. Working on
a couple of pretty fun music
projects right now. Running triathlons
around the southeast on the weekends. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion
this Fall!

Hello Everyone! After graduating
I dated Doug Bearrentine for 2 years he graduated in our class as well. We are still
here in Valdosta. We have been married for 15 years and have a 10 year old daughter
and a 7 year old son who are great.Doug is a supervisor at Langdale Forrest Products
and I work for Cellular South. I don't see alot of you from our class but wanted to say

in 1998. Now have just bought a larger house and moving out towards Pine Grove

I moved to Atlanta after
graduating from VSU and have lived here ever since. I was a software engineer for many
years but made the move to household engineer when my husband's travel schedule
expanded. Cesar and I have been
married for 15 years and we have 2 boys, Cole who is
11 and Tyler who is 6. System
development and design have been replaced by baseball
and Boy Scouts. I visit my parents
in Valdosta as often as I'm able. It's always nice to run into a familiar face
while I'm there.

I married Kevin Blanton,
also Class of '82, and we have one son, Garrett. We actually live in Adel (just in case anyone
tries to find us in the phone book) but I work in Valdosta so for all practical purposes,
I am from Valdosta since that is where I spend the majority of my waking hours. I think
this is a great site; finally something on the Internet that truly holds my interest!

Allen is 21, and is in the Air Force, stationed in Charleston,
SC. Michael is 18, and attending
GC&SU in Milledgeville. I
spent 7 years in Florida after my first marriage. After my divorce, I met a wonderful man and
we have been married for 13 years. We lived in Connecticut for 11 years where I
worked as a Nursing Assistant. We
relocated back to Gray,
GA in 2002 and I now work for GEICO.

I graduated from the Air Force Academy in 86.
My eyes went from 20/20 to 20/100 so instead of pilot training,
I started my Air Force career in space operations. I spent most of my 20 years before retiring this past year in
research & development and acquisition (Theater Missile Defense,
Airborne Laser, ICBMs, and numerous satellite programs). My last job in the Air Force
was as the Air Force Manager for a wideband
communications satellite system. Since retiring in Los Angeles, I joined LinQuest
Corporation as a Principal Systems Engineer.
I live in Redondo Beach, Ca with my wife Marcie, son Ben (7), and daughter Maddie
(2.5). Oh yeah, and I have a
daughter (Christina) at the Academy of Art University
in San Francisco (gulp) and another (Grace) at University of California Santa Cruz (double
gulp). Both are freshman. I've lived in Colorado Springs, Co- -Cape Cod, MA--Boston,
MA--Washington D.C.--Albuquerque, NM and now Redondo Beach, Ca. I'm five blocks from the beach and probably
here to stay. Wish I could have
made it to the reunion.
Maybe next time.

After graduation I was
married for 7 years and had two wonderful boys Trustin and Josh. Trustin is now 20 years
old and Josh is 18 years old. I
got divorced and remarried and I now have the love of my
life,my wife Josephine and another handsome son by the name of Cameron who is 6 years old.I also have a beautiful
grandaughter Brooke and she will be 1 year old Oct.26 of this year and yes I am a very
proud grandfather.I took some very good advice from a classmate
and got my head out of the clouds and got busy securing a good life for my family and
myself(thanks Suzanne).For 12 years I worked for Bayliner Marine Corp. as a manager and
now I work for AT&T as a voice and data installation and repair
specialist

Life gets in the way of
living, but I’ve done my fare share. Moved to Atlanta, thought that
would go somewhere, it
just brought me back to south ga. Met a guy at the old holiday inn(of all places). Got
married, had 2 kids (got rid of his ass), with help from family got
my act together and we started
over in this little place called white springs, fl. Met this truck drivin' guy by the name
of Bill Cason (blue eyes), got married, got the kids raised up, had
a truckin' business along
the way, and am now a certified pharmacy tech working for Shands. Bill is still truckin'
it for beaver dump truck service of Live Oak, FL. Montana, now 22 is the artist and musician
in the family. He also has gotten his CNA Cert. From the state of FL. and also works
for H&M Bay of Maryland at the state farmers mkt.in white springs. Julie now 21 was
pursuing a modeling career but life happened and she had angel 1 named Adalie and then Texas and is married
to the army life by the name of Adam Cowart from White Springs.
They are presently stationed at Ft. Bliss, TX. We commute back and forth a lot but
here on the Suwannee River is still where we call home. Raising kids (and not just mine)
on this river has been an experience, but I don't think I would have done it any different. I (we) still go to Hahira
quite often to the family farm out in Shiloh. We still have the farm
and a few of the 'family' live there. It's still farmed by my bro. Jimbo.
I have also gotten into
my "native" roots and can be seen dancing at pow wows or gatherings all over. Montana
has made a name for himself being a native american grass dancer. Huh! How about
that and coming from Mickey moose. Thanks Allen Adams.

Hey everybody! I was thrilled to come across this web site
while surfing the net. Although I have been gone from Valdosta for almost 17
years, I have visited as often as possible and tried to keep up with
old friends. I've been married
for almost 17 years to Scott Curtis. For those of you who remember, he was the Army
guy I met at band camp summer before our junior year.
We have 2 beautiful children, who are actually young adults.
Danielle is 15 and quite
a stunning young lady if I do say so myself. Our son is Drew, who is 14, 100% all boy, and is growing into a fine
young man. Our family has traveled
and lived all over the world,
thanks to good ole Uncle Sam. Scott
has actually just retired from the US Army this past January 1st after 20 years
of service. So we're getting
a taste of what its like to be civilians.
He has now began a new career as a corporate Jet pilot for Executive Jet International.
I was a stay at home Mom for almost 10 years and loved every minute of it. Given the choice again, I would make the same
choice. It has paid us dividends in the long run.
I went to work outside the home about 7 years ago with Sprint
telecommunications. With the largest merger in telecommunications
history on the horizon, we'll see what
the coming year brings. I would
love to hear from any and all of you, and catch up. I think of those days at Lowndes High so often
and with so much happiness. Those were truelly some of the best times of
my life. The Class of 1982 will always hold a very dear
place in my heart. "Go Vikes".

worked to put it together!
