After graduation I did alot of traveling and being a bum. I got married in '99 and she has

managed to straighten me out. We lived in Athens for 5 years while she finished pharmacy

school and are now currently living in S.C. where i'm working towards a Masters in

Education. I have a 18 month old boy named Tyler who is a perpetual motion machine. It

was good seeing what all of you have been up to. For those of you w/out a myspace page,

it's a nice way to keep up w/ friends and see pictures. Anyways take care all, hopefully I

can make it to a reunion.

Well as you all know I did not graduate in 92 or any time for that matter. I did get my

GED though and went on To Val Tech for my computer/accouting degree. I met my

husband Joel out at Moody and we've been married for 9 years (yes I was married 6

months before most of you graduated)as of yet God has not blessed us with any children.

After my husband got out of the air force, we moved to his home town in Alabama in

1995. We were there untill August 99 when we moved here to New Orleans. Joel is

attending seminary here to become a pastor (i'm sure those of you who remember me or

surprised by that one) God does wonderful things though! We love it here in New Orleans

(most of the time). If you're ever down this way look me up I'd love to talk/see some of my

old friends. I'm the office manager here at our housing office on campus and I love it. Well

i got my BS in Biology from VSU and then moved to Birmingham to go to graduate school.

Tom Barker (Class of 90) and I were married in December of 1996. I received my PhD in

Biomedical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2002. Tom and I

then moved to Seattle, WA for post-doctoral fellowships (Tom also has a PhD in

Biomedical Engineering.) We sepnt two amazing years there eating sushi and hiking in

the cascades and olympic mountains. We then moved to Lausanne, Switzerland to

continue to work in academic science, I was doing gene therapy and virology work with

ALS disease and Parkinson's diease. We traveled as much as we could and saw such

great cities like Paris, Barcelona, Prague, AMsterdam, Stockholm, Helsinki, Munich, and

may others. We had such a blast and could have stayed there forever. But...Tom was

offerred a proffesorship from Goergia Tech (who are rated 2nd in the country for his

field)...so we decided to come back home. I am transitioning out of academic science

and have strated a fellowship with the CDC to gain some experiene in public health.

I moved to Birmingham, AL immediately upon graduating and spent several years there. I

attended college and specialized in computer programming and networking. I got a job as

an application developer at a software company there making a legal case management

software package. While there, I got married to a girl I dated and had known for about 4

years, and divorced less than two years later (no kids). I moved back to Valdosta in the

summer of 1999 and took a job as a programmer at VSU where I am still employed. I

married Lori Martin from Ocala, FL in April 2001. I finished a Bachelor of Applied Science

degree in Technical Studies (computers and business) while working at VSU and also a

diploma from Valdosta Technical College in Website Design. I will graduate with a Masters

degree in Adult Education in Training and Development in May 2005. I have applied to a

Ph.D. program at UGA for Fall 2005. Lori and I now have a son who was born February 20,

2005. We also have a golden retriever and a cat.

Well, it looks like I'm a little behind the curve as far as this site is concerned. After

graduating from VSU, I married my husband and left Valdosta in 2000. He is an F-16 pilot

in the Air Force and since we've been married, we've lived in Wichita Falls (TX), Phoenix,

and Aviano (Italy). We currently live in Clovis, NM but we're headed to Las Vegas in the fall

and should be there for two-three years. We have two beautiful boys: Rafe is four and

Caige is three. Of course with two rambunctious little guys, I've got my hands full and

have been a stay-at-mom since having them. I haven't heard about any past reunions so I

hope posting on here will keep me better informed - I would love to see old friends!

It's been 15 years since high school! Time really flies. However, despite the passage in

time, I am as handsome as ever. I graduated from VSU in 1995 and Mercer Law School in

1998. I am a partner at the Bennett Law Firm in Valdosta where I specialize in family law

and personal injury cases. I married the former Lori Swilley in 1996 and we have 3 boys,

Austin (age 6), Sam (Age 3) and Cole (newborn!). Lori is a Language Arts teacher at LHS.

I spend my free time coaching my two oldest boys in little league (Austin--"The Batmen"

and Sam--"The Incredibles"). I am now glad that Coach Kebler failed to recognize my

professional potential. Some of you may recall that, despite a stellar little league career

and 6-0 record on the 9th grade & JV teams, I only saw limited varsity action--much the

dismay of my fans and supporters. However, life is great and I would not change a thing.

Graduated from VSU in 97. Moved to Gainesville FL, then Atlanta, GA. I now Live in

Smyrna, GA, just north of Atlanta. Working for Coca-Cola Enterprises. It was good to

see some familiar faces at the Dome when Lowndes defeated Camden, and then over at

the Parkview game also. Hope everyone is doing well.

I am currently living in Columbus, OH, with my husband Mike, one kitty, and one little

Beagle. I work for Battelle Memorial Institute's Toxicology Division. Pharmaceutical

research. I stopped competing in weightlifting due to injury and age, and because God has

led me in a different direction. We don't have any kids yet, but earlier this year I began

hearing the faint ticking of my biological clock. I drowned out the sound by buying myself

a motorcycle :o) Life is good, and I hope all is well for my old classmates. God Bless!

Update: Joined the Army and recently became commissioned as an officer. I know it's a

little late in life, but I wanted to support our troops and serve our country. I'm very proud to

wear my uniform!

Hope everyone is well. I joined the USMC after High School. Spent 5 years with an

Infantry Battalion. Done a few deployments. Got out in 97, met my soulmate (Melanie

Griffin). Worked with Ben Neal, done some farming in Moutlrie and, joined the National

Guard in 98. Went to Bosnia in 2001 (thats were I was on 9-11). Got back, went full-time

with the Guard in 2002 and thats what I am doing now. I am the Training NCOIC of an

Infantry company here in Valdosta. Yes I have been to Iraq as well. Got hurt about 7

months into my deployment and I am still recovering. Got married in 2004 and we just

had the most precious baby boy on Nov. 3 2006. (Forrest Griffin Boutwell). I havent seen

many classmates since graduation. To busy traveling the globe. I talk to Ben Neal pretty

often and work with Mike Ward; and of course Michele Griffin (I married her sister). I just

stay busy getting ready for the next fight. I would love to hear from you guys. Until then,

Gods speed...................…

After graduating from UGA in 1997, I spent some time as a sports reporter at a weekly

newspaper just outside of Athens. I went on to work for a couple of state government

agencies as their media spokesperson, and in December 2006 Governor Sonny Perdue

asked me to join his administration as Press Secretary. My wife Tonya and I live in

McDonough with our two daughters Kendall (5) and Carson (4).

I went to David Lipscomb University in Nashville and graduated in '95 with a BS in Math. I

got married and moved to Mobile where I did computer programming as an independant

contractor for 5 years, until the company that gave me most of my work hired me for good

and we moved back to Nashville. I have a son (Aidan, 2) and a daughter (Katherine, 4).

After graduation, I attended and graduated VSU with a BS in Criminal Justice. After VSU,

I received a commission in the US Air Force as a Lieutenant and worked as a Military

Police Officer. While in the military, I finished my Masters degree and separated the

military. I’m currently continuing to serve the county as a Special Agent in the US

Department of Justice. I’m looking forward to hearing from old friends. Until then, take

my dad retired from the air force the month i graduated in 1992 and moved us to nashville

tennessee. i graduated from mtsu with a degree in liberal arts in 1997 and got married two

months later to Trey Campbell. we started out in nashville and moved to maryland for a

year then moved back to nashville. my husband works for The Southwestern Company

and i am currently at home with my two girls, madison who is 5 and megan who is 1 1/2.

life has been great. really loved looking at all the photos and catching up on what ya'll have

been up to. :)
