Well...since graduation,
I have entered into the Army, spent four years in Alaska, got out of the Army and became
a police officer. I started my
law enforcement career at the Valdosta Police Department
then I went to the Lowndes County Sheriff's office where I was a Detective for two years. After leaving there and spending a brief period
at the Pearson Police Department I finally
settled down with the Nashville Police Department where I am currently the Chief Detective.
I was married for eight years before my ex-wife finally got tired of me and we divorced.
I have two beautiful little girls that live with their mother
in Moultrie.

I left Valdosta in '98
to join the Army. I was stationed
in California where I met my husband Jon. We have been married for three years and now
have a 17 month-old son, Jacob. I am no longer in the service, but a full time
college student (again). My husband
is an Air Force Officer
and we are currently stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska and loving it! I don't know if I will ever
return to Valdosta, but I would love to hear from old friends.

Middle Grades Education concentrating in Math and Language Arts. Taught Title I Reading and Math at J. L. Newbern
Middle School from 1999 to 2002. In 2002 I obtained certification in Special Education
and Early Childhood Education. Taught Interrelated Special
Education at Newbern from 2002-2006.
In 2006 I started teaching students with
Mild and Moderate Intellectal Disabilities and Autism in the self- contained program.During
my time at Newbern I advised the Service Learning Ambassadors, the Yearbook,
and Math Club. Will be teaching Special Education at Valdosta High School in
the Fall of 2007 with the added responsibilty of coordinating Community Based Vocational
Instruction for the system. Member of the National Council for Teachers of Mathematics

my Masters in 2006.Right now I am teaching Special Ed and loving it.

Since graduation I have
attended VTC but have yet to graduate. Joined a local singles group and thru many bad
choices and one great one I've found a wonderful woman as I was dj-ing the dances.
So I married her (Louise G.W.T.) in '98. We have no kids but we do have two dogs. I'm currently working at Crackin'
Good Snack Plant here in Valdosta. I've been there since '98.
I hope to hear from some of the people I knew in LHS. I'll talk

I took the road less travelled
and received my GED in 1995 before entering Valdosta State and graduated magna cum
laude with a degree in Secondary Education-English in 1999. After a brief stint in
Florida, I started teaching at Coffee High in Douglas, GA. This is my fourth year at CHS and
during my time here, I coached JV Cheerleading for two years before becoming the Spirit
Head Coach this year.
