is a scholarship in his name at LHS. Mark Bagley

Bagley.....killed in an
automobile accident on March 2, 1990.
I will never forget that day. He was such a wonderful person. Most of
the time you don't realize how wonderful people are until they're
gone, but not with Mark. He was intelligent,
handsome, athletic, and he always had a kind word to say when you
felt the worst about yourself that day. Being a mother now , I can
appreciate the qualties instilled within a person as they grow and
I just hope to God that my
girls turn out like he did. No matter what you looked like, no matter
how much money you had, no matter what
"group" you were in, he was always there to flash his little
"crooked smile"at you. Mark, i know its been 12 years now, but you will never
be far from my heart or my mind...I love You..

Harris Lee Caldwell II
Passed away October 2, 2002
in a motorcycle accident. He
was a wonderful person. He
was a great brother- in- law and he will be deeply missed. He left behind a wife and two small boys who
loved him dearly. I grew up
with him and knew him for
many, many years and I don't think I can remember ever hearing him
say anything mean about another person.
That was just the way he was.
He was a very giving and loving person who touched many lives. We miss you and love you very much Harris.

with Blane @ a local grocery store.
He was a great big kid @ heart!! He was really into Nintendo and could always
make me laugh no matter what kind of day I had had. I think about him often because the whole time he
was making me smile, he was crying inside and I never even knew.

Stephanie Lynn Bennett
Killed in a car accident
on Sep 16, 1992. "Stephanie
and her aunt were driving on a road near her aunt's house and the car fell over a
small cliff. Her aunt was thrown out of the car but, Stephanie was
trapped inside and couldn't get out. The car
then caught on fire and Stephanie perished. I didn't attend her funeral
but, several days later I went back to LHS
and talked to some people and they had written poems and placed her
picture on some of their lockers. Some friends
wore ribbons and some had her senior picture made into pin buttons
to wear on their clothing. She was
in ROTC and they did a wonderful job writing about her and placing
it on their class door. Stephanie was my best friend.
We had alot of good times as well as bad. The worst was when I heard
how and when she died. You don't
forget friends like that too easily. She always spoke her mind and
had a smile upon her face. Towards the end of senior year we didn't
talk that much. But at graduation night at VSU, we sat by each other and told each other
how sorry we were for letting small things come between our friendship
and hugged as our senior song was playing.
I am very glad that I got my best friend back that night and am thankful
we settled all our differences, for
I didn't know that 3 months later she would be taken from me. She was the first one in our class to die. I am so
glad I got to know her and become friends with her. She touched so
many people, but we didn't know this until
she was gone. I think she would liked to be remembered as the one
who liked life and lived it to it's fullest."
